Security Officer
Job Description
The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding people, property, and assets from various threats. They act as the first line of defense in various settings, deterring and responding to security breaches, criminal activity, and emergencies
Requirement(s)
Patrolling and Surveillance: Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeters, and monitor surveillance cameras to detect suspicious activity. Access Control: Check identification, manage entry points, and ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises. Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances, and contact law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Reporting: Maintain detailed incident reports, daily surveillance logs, and communicate irregularities to management. Protection of Assets and Personnel: Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access while ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and property.
