Job Description
A Dent Removal Technician or Dentor, repairs and refurbishes damaged vehicle bodies and panels and removes dents and other damaged parts of vehicle bodies and panels. Responsibilities • Repair and refurbish damaged vehicle bodies and panels • Remove dents and other damage from vehicle bodies and panels • Weld and repair metal components • Paint and refinish repaired areas • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities Key Skills • A foundational understanding of automotive bodywork and metal shaping is crucial. • Must be skilled in using specialized tools for paintless dent repair (PDR), such as dent rods, glue pulling systems, and lighting systems. • The ability to assess damage and choose the right strategy for each dent is vital. • Ability to use welding equipment, Spray painting booth setup and body repair hammers Age • 25-35 years
Requirement(s)
Minimum Qualification • Diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field • HND in Auto Mechanics • Any equivalent international automotive certification Minimum Experience • 2 years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry
