Mechanic
Job Description
A mechanic inspects, maintains, and repairs mechanical systems and equipment, often vehicles, by diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining records. Mechanics must also stay updated on new technologies, maintain a safe work area, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. Responsibilities Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and filter replacements Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in vehicles Repair and replace defective components Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities

Key Skills • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical components. • Ability to identify and resolve complex mechanical and technical issues. • A meticulous approach to diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment. • Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers and colleagues. • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to resolve issues promptly. • Willingness to continuously learn new technologies and techniques as vehicles evolve. • Ability to use engine tools, a Diagnostic scanner, transmission equipment, brake system tools, electrical testing equipment • Age • 25-35 years Minimum Qualification • Diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field • HND in Auto Mechanics • Any equivalent international automotive certification Minimum Experience • 2 years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry
