Accident Repair Assistant
Job Description
Accident repair assistants perform a variety of physical and administrative tasks to help with the vehicle accident repair process, such as assisting technicians, cleaning and preparing parts, performing minor repairs like dent removal, and helping with documentation and client communication to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Accident repair assistants will: • Manage the entire accident repair process from initial booking to completion ensuring seamless progression. • Coordinate repair workflow with technicians, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely repairs. • Maintain accurate up to date records, documentation and databases enduring precise information • Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the engineering team, supporting engineers with administrative tasks • Conduct thorough quality inspections, identifying and reporting defects or non-compliance. Key Skills • Must be able to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying parts, standing for extended periods, and working in uncomfortable positions. • Ability to learn to use specialized tools and equipment and understand minor repair processes. • Strong adherence to safety procedures to prevent accidents in the workshop. • Effective communication to interact with technicians, clients, and other stakeholders. • Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to operate various tools and equipment. Age 25-35 years
Requirement(s)
Minimum Qualification • Diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field • HND in Auto Mechanics • Any equivalent international automotive certification Minimum Experience • 2 years of hands-on experience in the automotive industry
