Field Technician
Job Description
The successful candidate shall support broadband installation. This involves installing internet equipment at customer premises, conducting onsite testing, and providing professional support to the organization’s clients. Installs broadband equipment at homes and offices. Performs signal testing and basic troubleshooting. Uses field tools such as ladders and drills safely and efficiently. Completes daily reports using mobile apps or digital forms. Provides respectful, professional service to all clients. Follows company safety and quality procedures at all times.
Requirement(s)
Technical background or experience in telecom, electrical, or related field. Valid driver’s license. Physically fit; able to carry ladders and work in tight spaces. Basic digital skills — using a smartphone or tablet for field updates. Skilled in Fiber Optics Splicing and Termination. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is an added advantage Experience with fibre or broadband installations. Familiarity with field equipment and safety standards. Able to speak English and at least one local language. Previous customer-facing experience is a plus.
