Depot Security Officer
Job Description
We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Depot Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our Cocoa Depot. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. Conduct regular patrols of the depot to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or damage. Safeguard the Cocoa beans against theft. Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems. Control access to the depot, verifying credentials and logging all visitors and vehicles. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances. Report any security breaches, incidents, or suspicious activities to management. Maintain a secure and orderly environment, including enforcing company policies and procedures.
Requirement(s)
Previous experience in a Security role is preferred. Strong observation and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations. Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Basic knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
