Job Description

Job Location/Region: Kwahu, Eastern Region Report To: Project Director Job Responsibilities: Conduct accurate and detailed land surveys using advanced surveying instruments. Determine property boundaries, establish control points, and measure distances, elevations, and angles to create accurate maps and legal descriptions. Research and analyze existing survey records, property deeds, and other relevant documents to gather essential information for surveying projects. Process and interpret survey data. Prepare comprehensive reports, maps, and legal descriptions based on survey findings and analysis. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to provide accurate survey information for project planning and development. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to land surveys, property boundaries, and land development. Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and recommend repairs or upgrades as needed. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements in surveying technology, and best practices in land surveying.

Requirement(s)

Minimum of Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Must have minimum of ten (10) years’ working experience. Professional licensure or certification as a land surveyor. Proficiency in operating surveying equipment. Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and methodologies. Familiarity with CAD software and other surveying software applications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and data analysis. Effective communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical fitness and ability to work in various outdoor conditions.
