Sociology Teacher
Job Description
Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic instruction in Cambridge Sociology syllabi. Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to a diverse range of students' needs and learning styles. Ensure comprehensive coverage of key syllabus areas. Develop critical understanding of social theories/research methods. Prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge examinations through targeted practice and mock exams. Monitor individual progress and provide differentiatied support for diverse learners. Organise fieldwork opportunities with local communities. Integrate current global social issues into curriculum.
Requirement(s)
A Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Sociology/Social Sciences or related field. A postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) is highly desirable. Prior experience teaching Cambridge/IB Sociology curricula. Strong understanding of qualitative research methods. Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment procedures is a significant advantage. Experience using digital tools and platforms for teaching is desirable.
