Job Description
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons following the Cambridge Curriculum. Differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse needs, abilities, and learning styles of students. Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to a diverse range of students' needs and learning styles. Use formative assessment to personalize learning (Cambridge Progression Tests/Checkpoint) Create a stimulating classroom environment that celebrates student voice. Ensure comprehensive coverage of key syllabus areas. Develop students' critical analysis, academic writing, and creative expression. Prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge examinations through targeted practice and mock exams. Monitor individual progress and provide differentiatied support for diverse learners. Implement active learning strategies that promote critical thinking and creativity. Foster global citizenship through Cambridge Global Perspectives. Maintain strong parent partnerships through regular communication.
Requirement(s)
A Bachelor's Degree in English Literature, Education or related field. A postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) is highly desirable. Prior experience teaching Cambridge/IB English curricula. Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment procedures is a significant advantage. Experience using digital tools and platforms for teaching is desirable.
