Biochemistry Teacher
Job Description
Plan, prepare, and deliver dynamic instruction across Cambridge IGCSE and A-level Biology with biochemistry specialisation. Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to a diverse range of students' needs and learning styles. Ensure comprehensive coverage of key syllabus areas. Design STEM integration projects bridging all three disciplines Prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge examinations through targeted practice and mock exams. Monitor individual progress and provide differentiatied support for diverse learners. Integrate current biotech advancements and research-based assessments into lessons.
Requirement(s)
A Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Biomedical Sciences or related field. A postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent) is highly desirable. Strong understanding of qualitative research methods. Expertise in risk assessment and lab management. Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum and assessment procedures is a significant advantage. Laboratory research experience. Ability to teach Chemistry to IGCSE level. Experience with bioinformatics tools. Experience using digital tools and platforms for teaching is desirable.
