Job Description

he Principal serves as the Chief Educational Leader, responsible for driving academic excellence, school operations, and community engagement. Leadership and Strategy: Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the institution, ensuring that the school’s vision and mission are effectively integrated into each section (preschool to secondary). Work closely with the three Vice Principals to ensure alignment in educational goals, curriculum standards, and operational efficiency across all sections. Collaborate indirectly with Academic Coordinators and teachers to promote innovative teaching methods and continuous improvement in academic outcomes. Develop and implement school wide policies and procedures, working in coordination with the Vice Principals to ensure consistency across the sections. Curriculum Development and Academic Excellence Oversee the development, review, and continuous improvement of the curriculum across preschool, primary, secondary, and college levels, ensuring alignment with international standards as well as local education requirements where required.. Collaborate with the Vice Principals (VP's)and Academic Coordinators to design and implement a curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students at different stages of their education. Ensure that the curriculum is forward-thinking, promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, while preparing students for higher education and the global job market. Conduct regular reviews of curriculum effectiveness, incorporating feedback from teachers, students, and parents to refine instructional practices. Provide guidance and support to teachers on curriculum delivery, assessment methods, and instructional strategies. Work with the Academic Coordinators to integrate new technologies and innovative teaching methodologies into the curriculum, ensuring students have access to 21st-century learning experiences. Ensure that curriculum development supports the school’s goals of inclusivity, differentiation, and personalized learning, catering to students with varying abilities and learning styles. Guide Vice Principals( VP's) and Academic Coordinators in improving instructional practices and curriculum development. Monitor student outcomes and the effectiveness of academic programs, implementing improvements as needed.

Requirement(s)

A Master’s degree or higher in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field. · 5-10 years of leadership or managerial experience within an international educational school. · Excellent leadership, management, communication, interpersonal and managerial skills. · A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life. · Proven success in leading diverse teams toward educational excellence.
