Finance Manager at Ada Rural Bank PLC
Job Description
Lead and coordinate the development of the bank's strategy and develop and manage the resulting strategic initiatives in line with bank's vision • Initiate, co-ordinate and consolidate the preparation of the bank's budgets reviews and targets • Monitor the rollout and implementation of departmental strategic plans assessing against targets and report on progress as and when required • Primary responsibility for implementing and maintaining internal financial controls assuring the completeness and accuracy of information contained in the bank's financial systems • Responsible for preparation of reconciliation statements for the bank's accounts with ARB Apex Bank Plc and other accounts held by the Bank
Requirement(s)
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, a Master's degree or professional accounting qualification (ICAG, ACCA, etc) is highly preferred • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role overseeing finance, accounting, budgeting and reporting, preferably with a rural and community bank • Strong understanding and working knowledge of banking operations, IFRS and Bank of Ghana regulations and directives and tax regulations • Proactive, highly analytical and high professional and personal integrity. • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel • A working knowledge in a Core Banking software, preferably T24 Banking application
