Medical Counter Assistant (MCA)
Job Description
We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Medical Counter Assistant to join our team. The MCA will be responsible for assisting customers with their healthcare needs, handling prescriptions, and supporting the smooth operation of the pharmacy or medical facility. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. At least 3 years of experience in an HR or administrative role. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of HR software and MS Office Suite. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and multitasking ability. Problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations calmly and efficiently. Customer Focus - ability to build relationships internally and externally from the organization Teamwork and Collaboration Abilities Ability to manage people effectively in line with organizational policies and procedures
Requirement(s)
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Medical Counter Assistant or experience in a related role is preferred. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of common medications and healthcare products. Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure. Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
