IT Support Officer
Job Description
Manage the day-to-day operations of the host computers by monitoring system performance, configuration, maintenance and repair. Ensure that records of system downtime and equipment inventory are properly maintained. Apply revisions to host system firmware and software. Works with vendors to assist support activities. Recons on savings, investments and lending products to ensure accurate reporting on interest income and interest expense. Perform troubleshooting as required. Work directly with IT personnel and business teams to resolve issues identified and escalated during daily operations and supervises operations staff including training and evaluation. Manages the data center and computer host systems including hardware, software and equipment such as air-conditioning system, UPS (uninterrupted power system) and fire protection system. Configure and support VLAN, VPN and Remote Access Technologies. Enforce guidelines/principles/policies for the operation of the network services and provide secure, reliable, and efficient LAN/WLAN/WAN services. Ensure efficient network management and monitoring using a range of network management suites. Configuration and maintenance of CCTV infrastructure. VOIP Technology setup and support.
