Manager, Enterprise Technology and Architecture
Job Description
Oversees the building and maintenance of all Technology Architecture frameworks within the Bank, in alignment with Technology strategy, to maximize productivity and ensure efficiency across all operations.

Roles and Responsibilities: Develops and disseminates strategic roadmap for the building and maintenance of the Bank's Technology Architecture, ensuring alignment with the Banks strategy to deliver strategic business objectives. Oversees the design and implementation of complex software solutions for use within the Bank, to maximize productivity. Creates detailed architectural diagrams and technical specifications to inform implementation activities. Oversees the development of Architecture reference and procedure documents to ensure consistency in practice and alignment with strategy. Provides input in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies to ensure that appropriate steps and processes are being used. Collaborates with other teams to improve business processes to ensure operational efficiency within the bank. Conducts periodic gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and works to implement changes within the architecture that increase operational efficiency. Reviews periodic reports created by architects to make recommendations to senior Management. Leads in the management of risks of possible impact of enterprise technology changes on existing software applications, business processes, systems, networks, and data; Oversees the documentation of a risk register, to ensure risks are monitored, managed and averted where necessary. Manages and tracks progress of Technology Architecture projects, to ensure they stay within the parameters agreed and meet organizational goals. Manages the performance of the Architecture team and collaborates with Human Capital to develop initiatives for the enhancement of their development. A Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field A minimum of seven (7) years general IT experience with at least five (4) years in enterprise architecture; At least three (3) years in a senior role Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, including SaaS and IaaS Certification in Cloud Computing and DevOps technologies (AWS, Azure, Google) and/or Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF, CEA, etc) and/or Solutions Architecture (Azure, etc) Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc) Knowledge Skill: Knowledge of Cybersecurity regulations, best practice, Cyber and Information Security Directive, GDPR, and ISO 27001 IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT and ITIL and IT control frameworks Enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, Zachman, and ArchiMate Software development technologies and platforms, including programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, and frameworks such as React and Angular Data architecture principles and practices, including data modelling, data integration, and data governance Knowledge of Change Management principles and methodologies Knowledge of the Banks, IT infrastructure, Core Banking and Non-Core Banking applications, digital banking applications and digital channels Location: Accra Employment Type: Full Time
