Job Description

The role holder is responsible for the prioritization, direction, coordination and oversight of all Information Technology application projects within the portfolio and ensuring return on investment and achievement of the defined portfolio deliverables for the attainment of the Bank’s corporate objectives

Requirement(s)

Roles and Responsibilities: Work with the Project Administration Unit to coordinate the assembly and administration of all resources needed for the effective delivery of projects Provide oversight for the delivery of portfolio projects within set timelines and budgets without compromising on quality outcomes Coordinate with the Planning and Initiation team to ensure portfolio planning and identification of inherent risks in all projects and put in place measures to mitigate them Track portfolio performance and review reports for submission to Line Manager. Manage portfolio resource allocation and perform integrated change control on projects in the portfolio Conduct review of all stage closure reports and ensure that all PRINCE2 baseline management products for projects within the portfolio are completed and ensure that they meet corporate and industry standards Align the prioritization process of projects in the portfolio with the Banks annual and strategic plan objectives. Engage key stakeholders to evaluate proposed and ongoing projects based on value, risk, effort, cost, and strategic alignment. Develop relationships with stakeholders and executives in order to understand capacity and unique line-of-balance items. Education and Experience: A Minimum of a first degree in Business Administration or related course. Professional Certification in PRINCE 2 Project Management Methodology required Related Job Experience/Qualifications: List the number of years and nature/type of previous work experience required to successfully perform your job.
