Civil Engineer
Job Description
As a Civil Engineer you will be an integral part of the team responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing various civil engineering projects. Your expertise in structural design, construction methods, and project management will contribute significantly to successful project execution and delivery.

Key Responsibilities: Project Design and Planning: Design and develop engineering plans, blueprints, and specifications for infrastructure projects. Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to assess project viability and requirements. Utilize software and tools for drafting, modeling, and analysis in adherence to industry standards. Construction Oversight: Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design and construction issues. Conduct quality assurance assessments and inspections at various project stages. Project Management: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Prepare project proposals, budgets, and progress reports for clients and management. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution. Technical Expertise and Innovation: Apply knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices to solve complex engineering challenges. Identify and implement innovative solutions to optimize project efficiency and sustainability. Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry trends. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s degree may be preferred for certain roles. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is advantageous. 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on design, construction, or project management. Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, etc.) and project management tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and with clients. Additional Information: Full-time position located at Accra with potential site visits as required.
